Event Summary: The Arts Commission of Greater Toledos welcomes you to its spring fundraiser, The Mix Vertical. This year the ACGT is moving WAY UP to the Top of Toledo and taking over the 27th and 28th floors of One Seagate.

Date and Time: Saturday, March 19, 2011, 7 p.m.-1 a.m.

Location: 27th and 28th Floors of One Seagate, on Summit Street in Downtown Toledo.

Auction: The involvement of our local artists is a huge part of what makes The Mix Toledos best party. The original works of more than 50 artists will be featured in The Mix Vertical. This years theme is based on inspired views of Toledo, and features the areas best artists, including: Steven J. This year, The Mix Vertical introduces a peoples choice award for the favorite auction piece.

Entertainment: The Mix Vertical continues ACGTs history of great entertainment. The Mix Vertical features the tops in Toledo talent. Guests will be welcomed to One Seagate to the sounds of Joe Sneider, Vytas Nagisetty, and Nelson Overton,Toledo-native Chris Neals Low Down Brass Band (based in Chicago), Jeff Williams Group featuring Isis Ardrey, The Nu-Tones, and Slow Burn will have guests getting down in three stage areas. Flat Earth Agenda, Chris Shutters, and DJs Rob Sample and Nathan Mattimoe will keep the guests moving. Jazz guitarist Jason Quick will get the VIP room grooving. The Wet Sun Light Show will be accompanied by dancers from Paulettes Studio of Dance. Other entertainment includes Dorian Strange Mentalist Magician, Nervous Dental Patient by Spontaneous Art, and KayLouise and Mesmeric Dance Fusion. PhotoBoothLive returns this year to record the fun for all to see.

ACGT Programs Raffle: Raffle prizes will include an art bench created by the Young Artists at Work program, a Toledo dining experience package, a sports/entertainment experience package, an accessible art package, and many more items. Raffle tickets are $25 each, and 5 for $100. There will be 10-15 raffle packages available.

Food: A variety of the Toledo areas best restaurants and caterers will showcase their talents with a special offering or two, while competing for prizes for vertical display and peoples choice. Mancys Restaurant Group will be joined by The Oasis Restaurant and Catering, CABOT Vermont, SoGood Cupcakes, Cookies and More, Manhattans Restaurant, Flying Rhino Coffee and Chocolates, Tiger Bakery, Zing!Pow! Catering, Vitos Pizza, JoJos Pizza, Cottage Inn, The Original Ginos Pizza, and Homeslice Pizza.

Event Benefits: Proceeds from The Mix Vertical will benefit the programs and activities of the Arts Commission of Greater Toledo, including Young Artists at Work, Artomatic 419, Meet and Greets, Art in TARTA, and the Parkwood Gallery.

Tickets: Tickets are $75/person. VIP Tickets are available this year for $100 each, or a group of 8 for $800. VIP Tickets allow guests to access a private board room with an amazing view of the Toledo skyline, private entertainment, private cash bar (avoids the long lines), and other goodies.
