Cooper & Kowalski Paralegal Elisabeth Rife Receives Advanced Paralegal Certification from NALA

Cooper & Kowalski is pleased to announce that the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA) has bestowed its Advanced Certified Paralegal (ACP) credential on Elisabeth J. Rife, a senior/supervising paralegal active in the firm's Tort Litigation Practice Group.

Ms. Rife was previously recognized by NALA in 1998 as a Certified Paralegal after she passed a two-day written examination which covered the general skills and basic knowledge required of all paralegals.  To maintain this credential, Ms. Rife was required to participate in at least 50 hours of continuing legal education every five years.  The ACP designation takes the certification and continuing education process one step further by acknowledging Ms. Rife's successful completion of an advanced course on Trial Practice, a recognized legal specialty.
